Episode 6: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers ”Damn The Torpedoes”
For episode six of the Rate The Record Podcast, we take a look at the oldest album we've reviewed so far. It's Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with their 1979 release "Damn The Torpedoes."
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were a Southern Rock style band out of Gainsville, Florida. Their third studio album "Damn The Torpedoes" was released in October 1979 through Backstreet Records. It was recorded at Sound City in Van Nuys, California, and Cherokee Studios in Hollywood, California. Their music can be found anywhere you get your music physically or digitally.
