Episode 44: Arctic Monkeys ”Whatever People Say...”
Here it is! The final episode of season 2 has landed! This season has been a little long, so it's time to let it ride off into the sunset. So let's end this with episode 44 as we look at Arctic Monkeys and their 2006 album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not."
The podcast will return for season 3 on August 15th, so we hope to see you when we come back!
Arctic Monkeys are an indie/garage/post-rock/punk revival band from Sheffield, England. They formed in 2002 and gained a large underground following by releasing free copies of their EPs and having a fan-made MySpace page in the mid-2000s. They would be signed to Domino in 2005, where they would begin work on their first full-length album. The album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" was released in 2006. The album has won many awards and received many positive reviews across the board. The album was even named one of the best debut albums of all time. For music and more, go to www.arcticmonkeys.com
