Episode 34: Mr. Bungle ”Self-Titled 1991”

We took a week off, but we're back. Not only are we back, but so is Mr. Bungle! We last looked at one of their albums all the way back in episode 7. For this episode, we're looking at their self-titled debut album!

Mr. Bungle is an Alternative, Avant-garde/Experimental Funk Metal band from Eureka, California. Originally formed in 1985, they wouldn't see their first major studio release until August 1991. Their self-titled debut was released under Warner Bros Records. Though the album didn't do well critically, it would go on to carry a large cult following amongst fans and musicians alike. The album only spawned one single, the track "Quote Unquote" which was originally titled "Travolta" but was changed for legal reasons. For music, merch and more, visit www.mrbungle.com
