Episode 23: Living Colour ”Vivid”
Time to push on forward with Episode 23. This week is Savannah's pick, and it's all about Living Colour and their 1988 debut album "Vivid."
Living Colour is a hard rock/funk metal band out of New York City, New York. They formed in 1984, but wouldn't release their debut until four years later. They have been described as heavy metal, funk, jazz, hip hop, punk, and alt-rock/metal. Their debut album "Vivid" came out in May 1988. It was recorded in New York City through three different studios; Skyline, Sound on Sound, and Right Track Studios. The album was released through Epic Records and co-produced by Rolling Stone's Mick Jagger.
The album spawned one of the band's biggest singles "Cult Of Personality." For music, merch and more, visit www.livingcolour.com
